Duck Dunn (1941-2012)

If you play bass, you probably owe something to this guy and you don't know it. He was the house bassist at Stax and has played on countless recordings. This video is ok, but make sure to check out the same tune from the intro to the movie The Blues Brothers. The feel is incredibly laid back and in the pocket and the bassline makes the song.
